2022 Merus Vernatsch/Schiava Tiefenbrunnen

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is opaque and light. On the nose it is open, pure, charming and fresh. The taste is perfumed, fresh, fruity, and dry, warming, with low tannin, and low in acidity, light, with balanced, well-structured structure, youthful and the palate is modest. On the palate it is layered and has cassis, herbs, floral, smoky, pepper, perfumed, cranberry, apricot, blackberry, bread, buttery, cedar and earthy flavours. The finish is medium long. This wine is fine and superb.
